We will be providing free student meals to all children under the age of 18 during the closures from 11 - 12:30 pm daily, starting on Tuesday, March 17 at the following 4 locations: Adelanto Elementary, George, Morgan Kincaid, and Ted Vick. ALL AESD Schools Closed from Monday, March 16 - Friday, March 20, 2020 Posted On: Friday, March 13, 2020 March 13, 2020 Adelanto Elementary School District has decided to close all of our schools for one week, from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20, 2020. Currently we are planning for our students to return on Monday, March 23, 2020. We will be monitoring Federal and State news and County and San Bernardino Department of Health information release and may extend the school closure dates. Posted On: Friday, March 13, 2020 Identifying students who need help learning English is important so they can get the support they need to do well in English Language Arts/Literacy, Mathematics, Science, and other Subject areas in school. The Summative ELPAC is the test used to measure how well students whose status is 'English Language Learner' understand English. Information from the test tells your child's teacher about the areas in which your child needs extra support and helps determine if your student can be Reclassified because they no longer need language support. English Language Learner students will take the Summative ELPAC this March. Please see your school administration to determine what days your student will be administered the ELPAC. You are an important part of your child's education. AESD Canceling Before and After School Activities and Events through Friday, April 17, 2020 Posted On: Thursday, March 12, 2020 March 12, 2020 As you know, the health and safety of our students, staff and our surrounding community is a priority. To help limit spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus COVID-19, AESD will be canceling all upcoming before and after school extra-curricular activities and events at the school sites and within the District. These activities and events include school site parent nights, sports practices, PTA sponsored events, ceremonies, and District sponsored events.
